About The Plant
Semi-outdoor plant. Calathea roseopicta, often known as the rose-painted calathea, is a Marantaceae plant that is native to northwest Brazil. It’s a clump-forming evergreen perennial that reaches 50 cm (20 in) in height and looks a lot like Calathea makoyana. The huge spherical leaves are dark green on top and scarlet on the bottom, with cream or pink stripes “painted” along the veins and midsection, as well as feathered edges.

Plant Care
Sunlight: Place indoors in a medium to bright position, or outdoors in a bright spot away from direct sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, otherwise the leaves will burn & its vibrant colours will be fade away. Turn the plant occasionally so all the growth does not occur on one side.
Watering: Water regularly, ensure soil does not dry up. Sensitive to overwatering. Discard any excess water.
Fertiliser: Apply granular fertiliser or liquid fertiliser every few weeks. Generally does not require a lot of fertiliser.
Soil: Slightly damp, rich & well-drained. Ensure soil is not soggy.
